Unfortunately, we can't speak on other brands as we do not test them. Our transfer foil base is an air dry product and you don't have to put any acetone on the foil first. If you do try something like that, we have used our swipe product, but not pure acetone. Acetone melts plastic.

@@youngnailsinc i don't use gel polish just regular polish. I dont use fake nails either. I work and wash etc with my hands.

Many polish remover available for purchase at local stores are a mix of acetone and other chemicals. What would work to remove regular polish would not remove gel polish which is what is on the nails in the video. The only kind of remover that will take gel polish off, if you don't want to use an e-file, is pure acetone. That is why we don't use regular polish remover to take off gel polish.

When used properly at the correct speed and with the correct bit, e-files can be used safely and without causing damage. As with any tool (hand files as well) if not trained properly, the technician can cause damage.
